Mobile Healthcare Model for Disease Diagnosis
The research paper explores the transformative potential of mobile healthcare (mHealth) models in revolutionizing disease diagnosis, driven by advancements in AI and remote diagnostic tools. It emphasizes the critical role of early intervention in preventing health deterioration and guiding effective treatments through accurate diagnosis. The study draws insights from a survey conducted by Japan's Initiative on Rare and Undiagnosed Diseases (IRUD), highlighting the urgent need for improved diagnostic tools, particularly for elderly individuals who face challenges accessing healthcare. It advocates for developing technological solutions for remote diagnosis, leveraging AI—especially Deep Learning—to provide precise insights that enhance healthcare outcomes. The paper outlines a detailed methodology for implementing mobile healthcare, including user account setup, health record management, symptom evaluation, and proactive guidance. It also stresses the importance of robust data handling practices, covering security, privacy, and compliance measures, while emphasizing ethical considerations in using mobile health data for research. By reviewing existing surveys and literature, the paper underscores the growing significance of mHealth in early disease detection and management. Ultimately, it proposes a comprehensive model to leverage mobile healthcare for transforming disease diagnosis and improving health outcomes.
