A High Gain Multi Stage, Multi Device DC-DC Boost Converter Using Improved Switched Inductor Network for Solar PV Application

This paper presents a multi-device improved switched inductor-based DC-DC boost converter (MDISIBC). The improved switching inductor and multi-device units make up the suggested structure. The proposed structure significantly magnifies the versatility in selecting the desired voltage gain by adjusting the number of inductors, switches, and the duty ratio (D). This improved switched inductor network enables a enhanced voltage gain, while the multi-device configuration helps minimize the ratings of passive components. The suggested paper presents the derivation of a generalized structure for a k-stage improved switched inductor network with m active switches (multi-device). The operation of the proposed converter in continuous conduction mode is discussed. Moreover, a comparative performance of the proposed converter with other existing high gain DC-DC boost converter is presented. The proposed converter with a parameter 200w,24/120V is validated by using MATLAB/Simulink. The results of the simulation demonstrated that the suggested converter is more effective than existing topologies already in achieving high performance.
