Membership Function Shape Optimization of Fuzzy PIDN Controller Based on CTO to Track Output Power of PWR System
The shape of fuzzy membership function (MF) is important for performance analysis of any fuzzy inference system (FIS). Normally MFs are chosen by engineering knowledge and expertise but this may not reflect optimal performance in control problems. The aim of the paper is to present a method by using class topper optimization (CTO) algorithm to optimize the shape of membership function of FIS for PWR system. The method is basically to choose the correct membership function for the fuzzy PIDN controller to track output power of PWR system. The simulation result reflects good tracking performance in the proposed work.
