Analysis of ALFC in Two Area Power System Using Golden Eagle Optimization
Automatic Load Frequency Control (ALFC) is used in interconnected power systems to control tie-line power flows and keep the system frequency within allowable bounds. This paper simulates and analyzes ALFC in a two-area power system using the Golden Eagle Optimization technique to stabilize frequency deviations when a load disturbance occurs. The proposed method utilizes different iterations and population sizes to obtain the optimal PID controller values for stabilizing frequency in both areas.
