Research on an Improved Efficiency Active Clamp Converters

Aiming at the problems of low efficiency and high switching stress in traditional flyback converters, an active clamp flyback converter based on synchronous rectification technology is proposed. This circuit uses active clamp technology instead of traditional RCD clamp, which can reduce the energy loss caused by the leakage inductance of the resistor in the RCD circuit, and can use the resonance of leakage inductance and capacitance to achieve zero voltage turn-on of the switching tube, reducing switching losses. Synchronous rectification technology uses MOS tubes instead of Schottky diodes used in traditional flyback circuits to achieve rectification function, thereby improving efficiency. This article provides a detailed analysis of the working principle and mode of the proposed converter, and designs corresponding Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC)strategies to improve the robustness of the converter. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical analysis was verified through simulation and experimentation.
