Thermal Properties of Jute and Hemp Fiber Composites Reinforced with CuO Nanoparticles
There has been a remarkable uptick in creating human-protective goods and technology in the last several years. There are greater dangers to people's health and safety in the globe now than in the past. There are no doubt that chemical and biological agents pose the greatest threat to both military personnel and civilians. In this study, the thermal properties of jute and hemp fiber composites are reinforced with copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO). This study investigates the mechanical and thermal properties of jute and hemp fiber composites reinforced with copper oxide (CuD) nanoparticles. Incorporating CuO nanoparticles (0%, 1%, 3%, 5%) into the fiber matrix aims to improve the performance characteristics of these natural fibers, which are already well-known for their eco-friendliness and sustainability. The thermogravimetric analyser (TGA), Thermal Conductivity and Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) to reinforced fiber composites are measured and compared. CuO nanoparticles (0,1,3,5) % were added to the hybrid composite to improve the properties of the material. The addition of CuO nanoparticles is a significant improvement in the composites properties from the results. Raw fiber has lower thermal stability than CuO nanoparticles added composites compared to each other. From the results, there will be significant improvements in the stability and the thermal conductivity for various applications of high-temperature highlighting the reinforced composites potentially.
