A Novel Model Predictive Controller Design for PMSM Drives in Electric Aircraft
To reduce the control offset predicted by the model and improve the performance of servo motor braking motion, a new model predictive control method is proposed to realize the smooth switching from high speed to braking. First, a new cost function is constructed to achieve smooth control of the rotational speed, and a switching process of the cost function is proposed, which can achieve stable braking under load torque while seamlessly alternating with motor operation. Further, a second-order differential tracker is designed to provide a smooth reference trajectory during control. In addition, a disturbance observer that can be integrated into the control framework is embedded to realize the comprehensive consideration of the uncertainty of the system parameters. Finally, the simulation results verify the effectiveness and reliability of the algorithm.
