Perfiles estratégicos manufactureros: análisis de la III encuesta nacional de Dinámica del Empleo e Innovación

The objective of this study is to analyze the degree of importance that the Argentine manufacturing sector assigns to different business strategies. The data source was the Third National Survey on Employment Dynamics and Innovation for the period 2019–2021. A total of 10 strategies were surveyed, related to the management of innovation in goods and services, competitive positioning, product diversification, market segmentation, and product customization, across a total of 3,577 organizations. The results revealed a positive correlation between the improvement of existing products and the introduction of new ones, indicating that companies tend to apply both innovation strategies simultaneously. The analysis demonstrates that the industry sector and company size influence strategy selection. Two strategic profiles were identified: one focused on quality and customization, predominant in most manufacturing industries, and another centered on product diversification and business efficiency.
