Analysis of differences in self-resilience and communication skills by level of academic achievement

Objectives This study was conducted to determine whether there is a difference in self-resilience and communication ability by level of academic achievement for the second year of high school. Methods To this end, a one-way variance analysis and correlation analysis were conducted based on the results of a survey on academic achievement level, self-resilience, and communication skills conducted on 2983 second-year high school students. Results As a result, it was found that there was a significant difference in self-resilience and communication ability depending on the level of academic achievement, and it was confirmed that there was a significant correlation between academic achievement level and self-resilience and communication ability. Conclusions The lower the level of academic achievement, the lower the level of self-resilience and communication ability, and it can be concluded that self-resilience and communication ability improvement activities for students with low academic performance are necessary.
