Uptake of second dose measles containing vaccine and associated factors among children aged 24–35 months in central Ethiopia: a community based cross-sectional study
The uptake of MCV2 in Merhabete District was lower than the measles elimination target. Number of antenatal visits 4 or more, place of delivery, knowledge of MCV2 schedule, immunization card availability, and maternal age were found to be statistically significant factors for the uptake of MCV2. Therefore, health decision makers better to strengthen periodic monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the MCV2 delivery programs.
