Organizational model of providing medical care in a day hospital.
The activities of day hospitals play an important role in the development of primary health care. In recent years, the volume of medical care provided in day hospitals has increased significantly. Providing the population with effective day hospital treatment reduces the risk of complications of chronic diseases, and preventive measures prevent the deterioration of patients’ health. Currently, the current organizational system of providing medical care in a day hospital needs to be improved. The developed new model makes it possible to carry out not only therapeutic, but also preventive measures in a day hospital, with a change in the functional responsibilities of the staff and a change in the routing of patients in the day hospital itself.
