Foreign experience in organizing the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases.
Annotation The high prevalence of chronic noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) remains relevant not only in our country, but also in most developed countries. Being the leading causes of mortality, these diseases are diseases of civilization that are associated with impaired mechanisms of adaptation to adverse factors of the anthropogenic-altered environment in the context of scientific and technological progress, industrialization and urbanization. One of the unfavorable trends in our country is the progressive increase in the number of people in the working-age population suffering from NCD. All this necessitates the search and justification of effective ways to combat these diseases, primarily through the development of scientifically based national prevention programs. For these purposes, it is necessary to take into account the accumulated experience of foreign countries, the analysis of which is presented in this analytical review.
