Integrating Green Manufacturing Techniques to Promote Sustainable Supply Chain Management Practices in Manufacturing Industries
The paper will examine the integration of green manufacturing techniques to promote sustainable supply chain management practices (SSCMP) in manufacturing industries. The manufacturing industry is integrating lean and green technologies to maximize operational effectiveness and minimize environmental impact. Notwithstanding the use of these techniques, notable sustainability problems continue to exist, underscoring the necessity of a thorough examination of current frameworks and procedures. This implies that these more general sustain ability goals may not be adequately addressed by the frameworks in place. The study makes use of substantive, epistemological, and bibliometric studies. Finding criteria and sub-criteria that can be used to more empirical research is the goal. The study identifies themes and offers a methodology for improving supply chain performance based on these studies. The study focuses on identification of 4 criteria's 15 sub criteria's through which three major areas were identified. By focusing on these themes, manufacturing industries can promote operational efficiency and economic competitiveness. The study suggests, conquering challenges and integrating cutting-edge technology into strong frameworks is necessary to achieve durability by providing 3 themes. Future research should concentrate on knowledge gaps, comprehensive frameworks, and long-term consequences.
