A Resonant Reset Forward Converter with Ultra-High Conversion Gain
This paper proposes the implementation of a high-gain resonant reset forward converter and validates its performance. A differential transformer is used in the implementation, to achieve ultra-high conversion gain. The transformer design achieves this high voltage ratio with minimal leakage unlike a conventional transformer. The technique alleviates the duty cycle limit problem associated with high conversion gain converter design. A 600 V to 9 V, 150 W experimental prototype validates the effectiveness of the proposed technique.
