Integral Dual Fractional Derivative Frequency Controller for Thermal Power Plant with Delay
Time delays in power systems cause phase lag and impair closed-loop stability, which worsen the performance of load frequency control (LFC). So as to accomplish increased resilience, this work suggests an analytical design of an integral dual fractional derivative (IDFD) controller with a single tuneable parameter for an isolated time-delayed microgrid. The controller's sole tuning parameter is intended to accomplish a satisfactory trade-off between resilience and performance. The findings of the simulation confirm that the suggested design is more resilient than some of its counterparts. In the face of nonlinearities, abrupt changes in load, and uncertainties in system parameters, the competency of proposed controller is assessed.
