Towards Smarter Cities: Analyzing the Impact of Automated Parking Systems

Parking allocation has become a major problem in modern cities, and as a result, many smart parking systems (SPS) have been developed. Therefore, this paper seeks to do an in-depth study, comparison and analysis of different types of SPS with reference to their technological approach, sensors, networking technologies, user interface, computational approaches and services offered. The road problems faced in metropolitan cities can be solved by this proposed automated SPS. The main drawback of the current parking system is to find the availability of slots. And to solve this we have proposed a new modern parking system which is more efficient way to find the availability of slots and to manage it.
