Reconfigurable Battery with Multiple Input Bidirectional DC-DC Converter for Electric Vehicle
Electric vehicle technology is rapidly advancing worldwide, transforming the mobility sector into e-mobility through innovations in battery technology, electrical drives, and various motor types. This research focuses on integrating a reconfigurable battery pack with a bidirectional multiple input DC-DC converter. The reconfiguration of the battery pack is achieved by equalizing the input voltage level within the reconfigurable circuit, facilitated by the boost converter circuit. The boost converter maintains the output voltage level of each battery module, ensuring reconfiguration without violating current laws. The integration of the battery module with multiple input converter illustrates multiple satisfactory results pertaining to reconfiguration of battery which enhance overall performance and range of the battery in electric vehicles. The proposed work has been simulated and analyzed in MATLB/Simulink.
