IoT-Based Real Time Patient Health and Medical IV Monitoring System

Current hospital practices for monitor ing patients throughout the day can be grueling, for nurses and doctors. Their busy schedules make it difficult to maintain close observation of every panent, potentially leading to critical situations. Accurate and timely medical care is essential, particularly when dealing with intravenous (IV) fluids. Improper monitoring of IV drip systems can cause serious complications like backflow of fluids or blood loss. And it is very essential to continuous monitoring of vital signs for early detection of potential problems. To address these challenges and alleviate the workload on medical staff, we propose the development of an Automated System for patient's vitals monitoring and IV administered. with the help of IoT. This system would automate the monitoring process, freeing up valuable time for nurses and doctors while ensuring the proper function of IV drips, alerting the authorities upon variation from normal parameters and ultimately improving patient safety.
