Control of Single Phase Full Bridge VSI Using Modified Peak and Valley Current Control With Optical Isolation
This paper proposes a modified peak and valley current control of single-phase full bridge voltage source inverter with optical isolation. A constant switching frequency is guaranteed by employing a frequency-limited switching technique. The peak and valley limits of the inductor current is controlled either by the comparator or by the switching logic based on the nature of its slope. Also, the modification of the reference signal is a crucial element that enhances the quality of the output waveforms. The proposed approach offers a well-defined harmonic spectrum, fixed switching frequency performance, optical isolation and quick transient adaptability. The proposed method is validated with the simulation results.
