Determining Power Loss of Motor Controller at Different Torque and Speed for Electric 2-Wheeler Application
With the given specifications, for optimum design and selection of devices, accuracy in power loss analysis is required. The power loss analysis becomes more reliable and closer to experimental results after considering all types of power loss, converter operation and device parameters. The accuracy can be increased by using the data given in the datasheet and updating it for the required operating conditions and taking load impedance into consideration. With the updations mentioned, an analysis is made with BLDC motor load with different speed and torque conditions for designing an inverter and then tested in lab with dynamometer. The results are promising for the MOSFET parameters updations and the circuit operation with load.
