Minimum Switch Double Boost Switched Capacitor Inverter with Phase Disposition PWM Control
This work introduces a minimal switch double boosting Switched Capacitor Inverter (DBSCI) that is intended to resolve critical concerns associated with rising usage of capacitors, DC sources, and semiconductor switching. Leveraging a DC source, eight switches, and three capacitors, the suggested DBSCI makes a nine-level resulting output. It demonstrates an inclination to increase the output voltage by a factor of two. Furthermore, the DBSCI implements a phase disposition (PD) pulse width modulation strategy to improve the overall quality of the voltage it produces and increase the resulting voltage. Utilizing MATLAB-SIMULINK, the paper evaluates the viability and efficacy of the DBSCI with respect to a variety of modulating indices.
