A Comprehensive Approach with Optimizing Current Harmonic Regulation in IPMSM Drive

This paper presents the comprehensive analysis and effectiveness of the dead time effect of VSI, and digital control delay for IPMSM drives. Furthermore, investigates the decoupling of current harmonics and the compensation of initial phase angles of voltage harmonics. The influence of voltage harmonics on current controllers and the impacts of digital control delays via the use of sophisticated control methods. The presented current harmonic regulator suppresses the challenges of voltage harmonics and digital control delays in VSI-driven IPMSM drives. The simulations are performed under torque and speed variations as well as regenerative braking scenarios. Outcomes demonstrate significant improvements in system per-formance, validating the effectiveness and finding satisfactory system response under various operating conditions.
