Experimental Analysis of Quasi Z Source Resonant Converter at Fixed Frequency Phase Shift Modulation
A single-stage conversion topology called a quasi-z source resonant converter (QZSRC) was designed for dual port charging to overcome multistage power conversion in the conventional multiport resonant converter. Using varied magnetizing inductance ratios, the suggested QZSRC work analyzes power sharing and efficiency for even and uneven voltage levels. The proposed converter can charge two batteries at a fixed frequency with a conventional PWM. However, the overall efficiency is affected by conventional PWM. This employed fixed frequency phase shift modulation (FFPSPWM) to the quasi z source resonant converter-based dual port charger to solve this problem. The proposed converter steady state analysis has been discussed, and experimentally testing a 400 W laboratory prototype on both chargers yielded a 91.8% efficiency.
