Complex Vector Disturbance Observer for Syn-RL Motor with Speed Estimation
This paper presents a model based sensorless technique for estimation of active flux (AF), speed and position. It focuses on complex vector disturbance observer (CVDO) for AF estimation and adaptive enhanced quadrature phase locked loop (AE-QPLL) technique for speed and position estimation. Complex vector observer is used to mitigate negative fundamental frequency components in estimated active flux and DC offset followed by disturbance observer for estimation of errorless active flux. CVDO method also eliminates a use of extra filters for extraction of fundamental AF. For improving dynamic speed and position error, AE-QPLL technique with forward compensation is used. Effectiveness of presented system is validated in MATLAB/Simulink.
