METODE PEMBELAJARAN DALAM MENGATASI KESULITAN BELAJAR BAGI ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS

This research is motivated by the problem of learning difficulties for children with special needs at SDI Lame. The purpose of this research is to find out 1) the types of learning difficulties of children with special needs at SDI Lame, 2) the factors that cause learning difficulties of children with special needs at SDI Lame, and 3) learning methods in overcoming learning difficulties of children with special needs at SDI Lame. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research. The data collection techniques used were interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that (1) there are several types of learning difficulties for children with special needs at SDI Lame, namely learning dependence, learning disabilities, low achievement, and slow learning. (2) The factors that cause learning difficulties are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors such as laziness, lack of focus or concentration, and unruly; while external factors are unsupportive school and home environments. (3) Learning methods to overcome these learning difficulties are good communication techniques, task analysis, direct instruction, modeling, gesture prompts, and peer tutorials.
