KOLEKSI SARANA PRASARANA DAN PENGEMBANGAN KOLEKSI PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS PALEMBANG

College library is a library established in the college environment, which is useful to help students or lecturers who are in the environment. Therefore, the collection of facilities and infrastructure provided must be the best, so that users feel comfortable and satisfied with the collection provided by the library. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods by making direct observations. Descriptive Qualitative Research is a research approach that aims to describe phenomena in depth based on data collected in the form of narratives or descriptions, without manipulation of variables or hypothesis testing. The results showed that the Palembang University Library obtained a budget from its parent body, the University of Palembang, of 2% to carry out collection development which was carried out every 2 years. The organization of the Palembang University library is intended to provide and serve access to scientific information effectively and efficiently in the service of users of the Palembang University academic community.
