Tutur Layar: Menyibak Nilai Pesan Parenting dalam Kanal YouTube

The advancement of modern technology allows us to quickly share and receive information from all over the world. The internet has made communication easier without geographical or time boundaries, changing the way we live our daily lives. YouTube, one of the most popular social media platforms, is often used to disseminate information that can be accessed by people from all walks of life. Kinderflix is a YouTube channel focused on educational content to support children's growth and development. However, despite its primary purpose of education, some irresponsible adult users have misused this platform to sexually harass the host, Kak Nisa. This study aims to describe how the educational content on Kinderflix provides educational benefits to viewers, based on the theory of informative communication. The research method used is qualitative to explain and analyze phenomena, social activities, and individual or group attitudes. The data used consists of four parenting education videos on the Kinderflix YouTube channel. The results of this study show that the parenting education content on the Kinderflix YouTube channel successfully creates a beneficial learning environment for toddlers. This is evident from the positive responses from viewers regarding improvements in children's vocabulary and communication skills. However, the emergence of negative comments related to the sexualization of the host, Kak Nisa, is caused by adult viewers who do not understand the content's purpose, leading to misunderstandings and an excessive focus on physical appearance.
