SYNTHESIS¸ MOLECULAR DOCKING MODELING AND BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION STUDY FOR SOME AMID DERIVATIVE DEIVE FROME SOME ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DURGS
A series of amide derivatives were studied by reacting some drugs containing a carboxyl group (baclofen, indomethacin, etodolac, flurbiprofen) with an aniline derivative.4dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) was then added, and the solution was cooled to a temperature of 0C with continuous stirring, followed by the addition of dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC).The reaction was monitored using TLC.All new amide derivatives (1-4) were characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and some physical properties were also measured, such as color, Rf, and melting point. The biological effectiveness of the study was tested against a type of bacteria, one positive (Staphylococcus aureus), and one type of fungus (Candida albicans). The bacterial inhibitory biological activity of the compounds (1-4) was determined, and it was found that the derivatives possess very good efficacy at a certain concentration. The biological activity as antioxidants was also evaluated using the (Phosphomolybdate assay) method, and it was found that the derivatives have very good efficacy compared to ascorbic acid at a certain concentration, with compound 2 showing the highest antioxidant activity. The molecular interaction of the new amide derivatives with the protein 2X08 was also studied.
