Abstract. The relevance of the study of the philosophical aspects of the poetry of Magomed-Salah Gadaev is determined by his unique ability to reflect the complex experiences of the Chechen people in the context of historical events and cultural identity. In this regard, this article is aimed at analyzing two key poems by Gadaev: «Nostalgia for the Homeland» and «The Drooping Bustard» which reveal themes of loss, nostalgia, and philosophical reflections on life. To achieve the set objectives, our research employed thematic, literary-stylistic, and contextual analysis methods, providing a comprehensive approach to studying Gadaev's poetry. The thematic analysis allowed us to identify the main motives and symbols that reflect the author’s personal and cultural contexts. The literary-stylistic analysis revealed the expressive means that enhance the emotional impact on the reader. Contextual analysis examines the historical circumstances that influenced Gadaev’s work. The results of the study show that in the poem «Nostalgia for the Homeland» the author masterfully conveys feelings of loss and nostalgia through images of nature and native places.
