STRUCTURAL AND ARTISTIC FEATURES OF MINIATURE STORIES BY ISA ZAKRIEV

Abstract. The relevance of the article is due to the emergence of new genre forms in Chechen literature that differ in structural and artistic features, in particular, the genre of the miniature story. The multifaceted work of Isa Zakriev, who created a number of talented epic works distinguished by deep philosophical content, re-vealed in a brief form, is of scientific interest in this area. The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the genre features of I. Zakriev's miniature stories. It was revealed that the subject matter of the works under study is diverse, but mainly concerns serious issues related to the life of man and society, historical moments that had a fateful impact on the life of an ordinary person. The genre feature of the miniature is the concentra-tion of the narrative on a small fragment of life, through which the author reveals the deepest and most im-portant problems. The number of characters is minimal, but each of them represents a collective image. In terms of style, due to the limited text space, the miniature does not imply descriptiveness and lengthy reasoning, so the narrative style is distinguished by its dynamism and laconism. For literary interpretation of miniature sto-ries, the most productive methodology is a multi-level analysis of the epic text, in the process of which it is nec-essary to identify the deep subtext that is hidden behind ordinary, at first glance, events and dialogues. Under-standing the content of Zakriev's texts is possible provided that the history of the Chechen people is known, since the writer rarely gives an exact indication of the place and time of the events described. The results of the analysis of I. Zakriev's miniature stories allowed us to conclude that a new stylistic direction of short epic prose is being formed in Chechen literature, in the mainstream of which the genre forms of a miniature story, prose poems, artistic sketches, etc. are developing.
