A Note on the Fauna Recovered from the Tombsat Wadi el-Halaf (near Khirbat Ras Abu Ma‘aruf),Jerusalem

1981; and a few articles in Singer 1994).Recent excavations in the suburb of Pisgat Ze'ev (Wadi el-Halaf) revealed several such tomb complexes.In most cases, animal remains were found mixed in with the human and cultural remains.This report describes the fauna recovered from the tombs at the site of Wadi el-Halaf (Shurkin, this volume; Kahana, this volume).
