Studi Retrospektif Gaya Hidup Saat Remaja Dengan Kejadian Anemia Pada Ibu Hamil

Background: Anemia can occur in adolescents, largely due to unhealthy lifestyles such as irregular eating habits, skipping meals due to dieting, lack of exercise, frequent fainting, weakness, fatigue, and other similar conditions. Objective: The aim of this study was to examine a retrospective analysis of adolescent lifestyle and its association with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Methods: This research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive analytic approach using a case-control design. Secondary data were used, obtained from questionnaires regarding the adolescent lifestyle of first-time pregnant women (primigravida), focusing on physical activity, rest patterns, eating habits, and menstrual patterns. Results: The sample consisted of 30 respondents, and the validity test showed that all instruments used were valid. The Chi-Square statistical test results showed a P-value = 0.008, indicating a significant association between physical activity and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women.Another Chi-Square test result showed a P-value = 0.024, indicating a significant association between rest patterns and anemia incidence. A P-value = 0.001 was found for the relationship between eating patterns and anemia, and a P-value = 0.004 for the association between menstrual patterns and anemia incidence in pregnant women. Conclusion: This study is expected to help pregnant women understand the contributing factors of anemia and encourage preventive efforts from an early age to reduce anemia risk in their children.
