Otorita IKN dalam Status Kelembagaan dan Hubungan Pembagian Kekuasaan Pusat dengan Daerah
The status of Otorita IKN as a ministry-level institution, as well as the holder of a mandate as the organizer of regional government at the provincial level, has given rise to constitutional debates as well as theoretically and conceptually regarding regional governance. This paper is a normative legal research carried out using a conceptual and statutory approach so that data collection is carried out using literature study documentation. This paper concludes that the otorita IKN does not carry out the principle of decentralization in its capacity as a local government, but only functions as a functional deconcentration which is an extension of the central government, and the position of head of the Otorita IKN does not take the form of an integrated prefecture, so that logically it only functions as a trustee as representative of the central government in the regions, but without the capacity as head of the regional government.
