Hubungan Aktivitas Fisik, Konsumsi Natrium, dan Lingkar Perut dengan Kejadian Hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Batu

Abstract: Hypertension can attack all ages including productive age. There is a 25.8% prevalence of hypertension in people aged > 18 years in Indonesia. Several areas in East Java with an increased prevalence of hypertension, one of which is the city of Batu with a total of 23,644 cases. This study aims to find the relationship between physical activity, sodium consumption, and abdominal circumference with the incidence of hypertension, and to find the dominant variable that has a relationship with the incidence of hypertension in the productive age group. Research using cross sectional study design. The research population is people aged 15-69 years who are registered in the working area of the Batu Health Center as many as 5,846 people. A total of 70 respondents were selected by purposive sampling as the sample in the study. The independent variables of the study, namely physical activity, were collected using the IPAQ questionnaire and sodium consumption using the SQ-FFQ questionnaire, while abdominal circumference was collected through measurements using the medline. The dependent variable, namely the incidence of hypertension, was collected through measurements using a tensimeter. Data analysis was performed univariate, bivariate, through chi-square test, multivariate through multiple logistic regression tests. Statistical test results showed a significant relationship between physical activity (aOR: 17.400; 95% CI: 2.707-111.837), sodium consumption (aOR: 7.843; 95% CI: (1.916-32.108), and abdominal circumference (aOR: 6.667; 95) % CI: 1.639-27.111), with the incidence of hypertension in the working area of the Batu Health Center. The most dominant variable with the incidence of hypertension is physical activity Abstrak: Hipertensi dapat menyerang semua umur termasuk usia produktif. Variabel terikat yaitu kejadian hipertensi dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran menggunakan tensimeter. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat, bivariat, melalui uji chi-square, multivariat melalui uji regresi logistik berganda. Hasil uji statistik memperlihatkan adanya hubungan signifikan dari aktivitas fisik (aOR: 17,400; 95% CI: 2,707-111,837), konsumsi natrium (aOR: 7,843; 95% CI: (1,916-32,108), dan lingkar perut (aOR: 6,667; 95% CI: 1,639-27,111), dengan kejadian hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Batu.
