THE SYSTEM OF CHECKS AND BALANCES IN GREECE
The system of checks and balances in Greece is based on the separation of powers between the executive, legislative and judicial branches. The basis of this system is mutual control and limitation of powers of each branch of government, which ensures balance and prevents usurpation of power.
