METODE GASING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

This research aims to determine: (1) the application of the GASING method to increase students' interest in learning mathematics, (2) the application of the GASING method to improve student mathematics learning outcomes, (3) increasing student interest and learning outcomes using the GASING method, (4) increasing student learning outcomes using the GASING method. The results obtained from this research are (1) an increase in the average interest in learning from 69.2 at the pretest to 86.3 at the post-test. This difference is strengthened based on the results of the paired sample t-test, which obtained a significance value of 0.000<0,05, so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, (2) there is an increase in the average learning outcomes from 50.05 on the pretest to 83.55 on the posttest. This difference was strengthened based on the results of the paired sample t-test, which obtained a significance value of 0.000<0,05. Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted, (3) based on the Manova test, a significance value of 0.000<0,05 then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, so that there is a significant influence between the use of the GASING method on interest and learning outcomes in mathematics.
