STRUCTURE OF CRIMINALISTIC CHARACTERIZATION OF CRIMINAL OFFENSES IN THE FIELD OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITY

The generalization of scientific approaches to understanding the essence of the structure of criminalistic characterization of criminal offenses and its constituent components has allowed to suggest that there are multiple and ambiguous approaches of scholars to address this issue. The purpose of the article is to determine the structure of the criminalistic characterization of criminal offenses in the field of economic activity. Based on the analysis, the author determines the possibility of formulating such a concept as the basic structure (model) of criminalistic characterization of criminal offenses. The basic model of criminalistic characterization is proposed to be understood as a universal, unified model of mandatory generalized data on typical features of a group of criminal offenses which are systemically important in the context of developing scientifically sound recommendations for investigating crimes. In the context of the criminal offenses under study, it is proposed that such a basic model of forensic characterization should be represented by information on: the method of committing a criminal offense, the environment in which they are committed, typical traces of criminal activity, information on the objects of the offense, the identity of the offender, the tools/means used, and information on the type and amount of damage caused.
