A Study of the Synergistic Effect of Acupoint Patches and Microwave Physiotherapy in Postoperative Pain Management of Mixed Haemorrhoids

(P Postoperative pain after mixed haemorrhoids is a core problem affecting the quality of patients’ recovery. In this study, we systematically analysed the effect of the combined application of acupressure and microwave physiotherapy, and verified its analgesic mechanism through Meta-analysis and clinical data. The results showed that the combined Chinese and Western medicine programme could significantly reduce the postoperative VAS score, reduce the amount of analgesic drugs by up to 42%, and shorten the wound healing time by 3.2 days in the combined treatment group compared with that in the control group (P < 0.01). It is recommended that Chinese and Western medicine synergistic analgesia be included in the standardised management pathway after mixed haemorrhoids surgery.
