The aim of the presented text is to reconstruct the ways of experiencing work on errors in school education, from the perspective of students’ own educational history preparing to become teachers of preschool and early school children. For this purpose, phenomenographic research was conduct­ed. As a result of the study, a map was created illustrating various ways of experiencing teachers’ reactions to students’ mistakes and the strategies they use when students make mistakes.
