Automated layout planning of walkway plates in climbing scaffolding platform using contour data
The rapid advancement of information technology has made computer-aided design a primary focus in the construction industry. This paper addresses the challenge of automating the layout of walkway plates in climbing scaffolding platforms in high-rise buildings. This paper presents a comprehensive approach that uses building contour data for oneclick layout planning of perimeter walkway plates. The approach processes building contour data to fit the dimensions and storage forms of walkway plates. It generates a partition diagram based on point relationships and extracts individual walkway plate data needed for modeling. This data is then integrated with Revit to expedite the planning process.
