Simulation design of paper extraction packing and palletizing production line based on robotstudio
To solve the problem of upgrading the packaging production line of small and medium-sized enterprises in the paper extraction manufacturing industry from manual handling and palletizing to automated unmanned handling and palletizing, the author built a paper extraction packing and palletizing simulation production line based on robotstudio, which was composed of IRB2600 robots, automatic box sealing machines, conveyor belts, robot end effectors, and other equipment. The robot end effectors, paper extactions, paper boxes, and other tool workpieces were designed based on 3D models. Adopting handling and palletizing method with two robots in one line to improve the process cycle and efficiency of the system. Based on the on-site working conditions, the design workflow included: paper packing, glue sealing, box stacking, planning TCP trajectory paths, creating smart components for the production line and associating them with commonly used I/O signals. Through offline programming and simulation debugging on the simulation platform, the paper extraction packing and palletizing production line was tested for practical operation, which was beneficial for optimizing and improving on-site programming efficiency. This study provides reference and basis for the design of other handling and palletizing production lines.
