Design of a visual assisted linear clamping mechanism for a certain rotating body wire
Aiming at the problems of low manual assembly efficiency and unstable assembly quality in the installation of deformable wires for a certain rotating component, a wire alignment clamping mechanism based on mechanical vision assistance was designed. The difficulty of assembling easily deformed wires lies in the identification, positioning, and assembly of the wires. Probability based statistical methods are used to identify the shape of easily deformed wires, and a combination of mechanical fixation and mechanical vision is used for positioning. The parts are equipped with springs, and the wires are not allowed to bend during assembly. The feed distance is calculated uniformly using the encoder of the servo motor to ensure that the wires are not stuck by the springs during assembly. Finally, a calculation method is proposed to reduce wire identification errors.
