Research on secure path planning based on quadtree and A * algorithm

Safe path planning plays an important role in sudden emergency situations, especially in fire evacuation. This study is based on the safety path planning method of quadtree and A * algorithm. By considering factors related to personnel evacuation, such as building structure, smoke diffusion, and personnel behavior, An evaluation index that comprehensively considers safety and efficiency are proposed, and introduce it into A * algorithm to find the best safety path. The experimental results indicate that this method can effectively ensure the safety of personnel while improving evacuation efficiency
