Simulation of fluid structure coupling of axial flow induced draft fan impeller based on numerical simulation technology

In axial flow induced draft fans, the force of airflow on the impeller can cause deformation of the impeller, which in turn affects the flow characteristics of the airflow. The theory of unidirectional fluid solid coupling ignores the interaction between fluid and solid, and cannot accurately simulate this bidirectional coupling mechanism. Therefore, a numerical simulation based method for simulating the fluid structure coupling of axial flow induced draft fan impellers is proposed. Thoroughly explore the working principle and structural characteristics of axial flow induced draft fans, perform regional grid division, set boundary conditions, and complete the three-dimensional solid modeling of the impeller of axial flow induced draft fans. Using the k - ε model with two equations to analyze turbulent kinetic energy and turbulent dissipation rate, numerical simulation of the fluid structure coupling of the axial induced draft fan impeller is achieved, and the stress and deformation of the impeller under the coupling effect are calculated. Three experimental conditions were designed to obtain the modeling results of the flow field of the axial induced draft fan impeller under fluid structure coupling analysis: the maximum stress of the impeller was 150 MPa, the maximum deformation was 0.8 mm, the turbulent kinetic energy of the flow field was 2.0 m ²/s ², and the flow dissipation rate was 0.8 m ²/s ³, fully reflecting the deformation of the impeller under the bidirectional coupling mechanism.
