A novel hierarchical relay protection device model wide-area scalability optimization algorithm
Due to the fluctuation of the services to be carried by the inter-station transmission network, it is difficult to guarantee the effect of relay protection under different working conditions. In this regard, a new type of wide-area scalability optimization algorithm for the hierarchical relay protection device model is proposed. The design of the relay protection communication network is divided into two layers: the process layer and the station control layer, both of which are connected through a switch with four ports. With the core objective of optimizing the message transmission characteristics of the station control layer and the process layer, we carry out the targeted design of the relay protection communication scheme and then introduce the three-parameter Weibull distribution model, which contains the scale parameter, the shape parameter, and the newly added threshold parameter, to optimize the relay protection device model wide-area scalability. In the test results, the method has the largest protection range under different working conditions, which can effectively guarantee the stability of the power system.
