Peningkatan Literasi Kesehatan Melalui Telenursing Dalam Mengatasi KEK Ibu Hamil
Abstract: Pregnancy is one part of the human reproductive process. One of the problems of pregnancy is KEK. KEK is a condition where a person experiences malnutrition (calories and protein) that lasts for a long time or chronically. KEK also causes health complications for the mother and fetus, including increasing the risk of high LBW, miscarriage, premature birth, congenital defects in newborns, small baby head size, maternal and newborn death, difficult labor, postpartum hemorrhage, and delivery by caesarean section (CS) because the mother's condition tends to be weak and lacks the energy to give birth normally. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in health literacy through Telenursing in overcoming KEK in pregnant women. This article uses a case study method with instruments for measuring the level of knowledge of pregnant women and monitoring nutrition. One intervention to overcome KEK is to increase health literacy with telenursing. Measurement of the level of knowledge and monitoring nutrition were carried out for 14 days. The results obtained showed that clients experienced increased knowledge after being given health literacy education and nutrition education. In addition, pregnant women are also able to manage nutritional needs for pregnancy. This study proves that through increasing health literacy of nutritional needs using telenursing is effective for use in pregnant women who are predicted to experience KEK. Thus, it is recommended for agencies to consider using telenursing in health services, especially education and assistance for pregnant women as one strategy in overcoming KEK in pregnant women.
