STUDYING OF SOME BIOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS IN CEREBROSPINAL FLUID FOR CHILDREN WITH MENINGITIS
Infectious ailment remains a first-rate motive of dying and incapacity for thousands and thousands of people round the sector, notwithstanding many years of dramatic development in their remedy and prevention.A cautious records is critical and should consist of information on underlying persistent sicknesses, medicines, employment.Exposure risk factors to particular pathogen kinds may provide crucial diagnostic clues. This research consist the estimation for certain enzymes activity in cerebrospinal fluid for meningitis children.Among these enzymes are: Lactate dehydrogenase, liver enzymes like Alkaline phosphatase ,Alanine aminotransferase, Aspartate aminotransferase and Creatinine kinase, Neurological enzymes like Monoamine oxidase A Acetylcholinesterase, Pseudocholinesterase. The study was done on (60) child had meningitis (30) male while (30) were female, in addition to (40) healthy child as control (20 male and 20 female) .The age range of children affected meningitis was from 1-10 years for both sexes. The finding demonstrated that the meningitis children had a higher significant activity for Monoamine oxidase A Lactate dehydrogenase, liver enzymes like Alkaline phosphatase ,Alanine aminotransferase, Aspartate aminotransferase and Creatinine kinase in their cerebrospinal fluid compared to control for both sexes .While there was significantly lower in the activity of Acetylcholinesterase, Pseudocholinesterase, these biochemical markers were excellent for assessing the biochemical functions for patient's body.
