STUDYING THE ELECTRON ENERGY DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION AND THE ELECTRONIC TRANSPORT COEFFICIENTS OF THE (SF6-Ar) MIXTURE FOR DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS USING THE EEDF PROGRAM
Using the EEDF program and the binary approximation of the Boltzmann equation, the distribution function f(u) as well as electronic transport coefficients (ETC) of a mixture of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and argon (Ar) gas with different concentrations of both gases were studied. The reduced electric field is also studied for the range (10 to 600) Td, where 1 Td = 1x 10-21 V. m2.The working conditions were done at constant conditions with a gas pressure of 760 Torr and a temperature of 273 K, the diagrams were drawn through the (MATLAB) program. The distribution function is clearly affected the lower the concentration of (SF6) in the mixture, and then the transport parameters are affected by that.Excellent agreement of the results obtained for the pure gases SF6 and Ar with the results performed previously.
