Digital management of carbon emissions in complex power systems based on big data

In order to understand the digital management of carbon emissions in complex power systems, a research on digital management of carbon emissions in complex power systems based on big data has been proposed. This paper starts with the supply side emission reduction of the power sector in City A, and uses the LEAP model to set up four scenarios. It analyzes the medium and long-term emission reduction path planning of the power sector, and comprehensively evaluates each emission reduction path from the perspectives of emission reduction and cost. The experimental results show that: (1) due to the rapid growth of power demand, even under the extreme scenario assumption, there will be no peak carbon emissions in the power sector of City A by 2030; (2) The emission reductions of A city's power department in the planning scenario, positive scenario, and extreme scenario are 2.694 million tons, 7.984 million tons, and 10.939 million tons of CO, respectively, accounting for 4.8%, 14.4%, and 21.8% of the total carbon emissions in the reference scenario, indicating that A city's power department has significant room for emission reduction.
