MMC submodule topology for integrated photovoltaic and energy storage converters and its improved control strategy based on double k-value ordering
With the rapid development of distributed photovoltaics, the traditional integrated photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage (ES) converter uses half bridge submodules with poor fault blocking ability, and the different on-probability of the device makes the power loss between submodules uneven. Therefore, it is of great significance to improve the reliability of the equipment to study the submodule of the integrated PV and ES converter with inherent fault self-blocking ability and suitable auxiliary capacitor voltage equalization strategy. To solve the above problems, this paper uses the reverse blocking hybrid energy storage submodule to improve the integrated Photo-voltaic and Energy Storage converter, and proposes a NLM strategy based on equal on-time division. The validity and correctness of the proposed topology and control method are verified by Simulink simulation model and experimental platform.
